3 Reasons Why You Need To Hire A Stylist For Your Branding Photography Session

Very recently, I had the opportunity of getting to work alongside Personal Stylist Emily Goodin of Effortless Style for a Nashville-based branding photography session featuring Daughters on Fire (which I will be sharing in another blog post), but I wanted to highlight some key reasons why hiring a stylist for a personal branding session elevates the experience of a session. 1) A stylist will help you communicate the message of your brand to your clients

Yes, as silly as that sounds, sometimes what you wear communicates a message to your audience. Also, I have had clients (and I am guilty of this as well) bring outfits that are adorable, but because they didn’t think through how the outfit would complement their body type, the outfit made them look formless and shapeless.

It could be an “undergarment situation”, an accessory out of place, a wrinkle that needs to be straightened…whatever the detail might be, your stylist will be your “best girlfriend” at the shoot to fix those little things that can sabotage a great photo!

These photos are going to be an investment, so why not have the stylist stay with you for the allotted amount of time to help you style the shot as well (a lot of the stylists I have worked with in the past have stayed the entire shoot day, and it has tremendously impacted the branding session in the best way!)
