For some of you, the idea of hiring hair and makeup for yourself for your photography experience seems a little extravagant...it's not.
As a mom, I know all too well the time, effort, planning, troubleshooting and fire extinguishing that goes into everyday life...let alone family pictures. I've seen many family session where everyone is polished, happy, and ready to roll. Then I look up and see mom scrambling to slap on some makeup and desperately trying to fix her hair in the visor mirror.
Imagine being able to nurse your little one while your hair is being gently styled. Or letting Dad run point on the kids in the comfort of your own home, while someone is attending to you. What if you could show up to family photos relaxed, confident, and beaming? Not just "managing".
This is why I want to serve mamas with the extra convenience of bringing hair and makeup. It's okay for someone to tend to you for a few minutes with the same love and intention you lavish on your family.

This is the initial get-to-know-you process where you fill out my contact form, you let me know what type of family photography service you are wanting (maternity, family, or newborn session) and then we begin the process of figuring out which package is best for you!
Step 1:
After your initial contact form has been processed, we will discuss which package is the best fit for you and your family's milestone portraits.
I'll send over a contract with two dates (a backup date in the event of a rain day), I will also send a free gift to help you style your family session! No matter what type of session you want there is a $400 permit fee to shoot at Cheekwood.
Step 2:
This is when we get to plan out your family session with your loved ones! I will be sending you a free family style guide for best inspiration for how to dress for these timeless, radiant, and milestone portraits! If you are needing a professional stylist, I have an amazing Stylist in Nashville I work with so I will pass along her info to you!
Step 3:
It's time to take your family portraits! I will be sure to send over a "check-list" of items to pack so that the little ones will have a fun experience!
Also, if you decide on a package which includes a Hair and Makeup Artist, we will arrange a time for them to do your hair and makeup at least 2 hours before the session!
Step 4:
After your session, I will send over a small sneak peek and will work on editing your gallery. The editing process takes up to 3 weeks since I tend to book out 1-2 months in advance. I have a process down for my family photography clients and I want to ensure that everyone receives their portraits in a timely (and realistic) manner.
Step 5:

Note: There is a $400 shooting fee to cover the permit at Cheekwood (it will be added on top of your final bill)
