Elegant Nashville Newborn Photography Session for a Baby Girl
As a Nashville newborn photographer, I’m always excited to capture the unique and special moments of each family I work with. Recently, I got to photograph a newborn photography session for a baby girl (baby Nora). Photographing indoors helped us escape the Nashville summer heat. Because we photographed at the client’s home (The Clarks), we created a unique and one-of-a-kind newborn session that weaved together the grace of ballet, the charm of Beatrix Potter, and treasured family heirlooms.
Some of the details of this session I loved
This session was for their sweet newborn girl, a precious rainbow baby, making it all the more remarkable for her parents. Her mom (Arden) decorated the nursery and infused touches of ballet, Beatrix Potter, and other heirloom pieces passed down from her childhood to her daughter’s nursery! These heirlooms brought a sense of history and continuity to the session, beautifully connecting the past with the present (which added so much charm and beauty to this session).
I also shot with a film look in mind, so having this nursery decor paired with the fine-art film photography look made this newborn photography session look like art, which made me so excited to deliver to the gallery!
I also love how Arden (mom) decorated the nursery with a palette of whites, sage green, pinks, and neutrals. Those colors together make for a gorgeous and feminine girls’ nursery, which gives it a classic and comforting feel when you walk into the room!
It was so hard to pick a handful of photos to feature. Still, as you scroll through these, I hope these photos remind you of God’s goodness and how peaceful newborn sessions are (I feel so much peace whenever I work with families on their Nashville newborn photo sessions)!
