I am SO excited for Rachel and her sweet family, who will be welcoming their new little girl this summer. When she reached out about her Nashville maternity portraits, I couldn’t wait to see them for their session. We’ve had such lovely spring weather, so I knew that her session would be totally dreamy… and I was right! Everyone was barefoot in the backyard in simple pastel outfits… it was a serious dream come true for this photographer! Rachel brought her husband and daughter Charlotte along to the session – and their cat even made an appearance!
Spring Nashville Maternity Portraits
Rachel is such a great mom, and she looked stunning the entire session, just so happy and glowing. Charlotte was all about hanging with mom, dancing, and twirling in the grass. And she loved hugging Rachel’s baby bump. When I asked Rachel about what she was excited for when their new little girl arrives, she told me she couldn’t wait to watch the relationship between Charlotte and the new baby. I thought it was so sweet! Rachel had also told me how active the new baby is. She’s excited to see how wiggly (and giggly) the baby is when she arrives. I loved talking about her pregnancy and hearing about the ups and downs. And doesn’t Rachel just look wonderful in her white sundress? It was the perfect choice for this spring session!
Maternity portraits are a great way to celebrate such an exciting part of your family’s story! Not only are they great to celebrate mom, but they’re also a good chance to update your family’s portraits before the baby arrives! I love helping big siblings know that they’re still important and get excited about meeting the new baby. And it’s always fun to capture mom and dad before those sleepless nights kick in again.
