Henley is ONE! I’m always so excited when families contact me about birthday sessions for their little ones because everyone is always so joyful. I mean, how could you not be? Your little baby is turning one! And the Millers were definitely excited to celebrate sweet Henley. Not only were we capturing her Nashville First Birthday Portraits, but we were also celebrating everything she’s gone through over the last year.

Henley has cochlear implants, and her mother, Grace Ann, wanted to really lean into documenting this phase of Henley’s life. I love that she didn’t want to shy away from any of the features that come with the implants. Instead, we celebrated them because they’ve been such a big part of her life. Although it’s been a tough year for this family, the fact that Henley could get her implants at 10 months was a HUGE milestone worth celebrating! Grace Ann, her husband, and Henley’s big brother Hayes couldn’t get enough of her. The Nashville Ag Center was a perfect setting for this milestone event. It was such a beautiful session – even in the heat!
