This was my 2nd time working with the Wallace family. The first time I met them, I photographed their newborn family session in 2019, and now it was SUCH a treat getting to see Ev as a 1-year-old! She has grown so much and learned SO much in a year, and again, it is just a reminder to me about how lucky I am to have my job because I get to watch families grow up over time! Seriously, it is such a gift! Here are some of my favorite things I learned about baby Ev from this past session with the Wallace Family!
What is your favorite thing about Ev at this current stage?
The squishy face she makes when she smiles, her eagerness for books/reading, and her love of dogs and cats.
Splashing in the water, whether it’s in the bath, pool, or dog bowl
Take walks with her fur sister, Reagan, read books, or swim in her kiddie pool
Always making time for the things listed above that we like to do as a family. We have a routine where, as soon as I get home from work, we go for a walk. Bedtime always includes a bath and a book, no matter how crazy our day is.
Switzerland to hike in the mountains!
This is not up for the parenting-of-the-year award—but she got into the dog’s water bowl, got water all over the floor, and proceeded to SLURP it up (you all, this is funny!).
