Since 2006, I’ve been capturing cherished family moments, and over the years, I’ve found that children thrive in shorter, more focused sessions. That’s why I specialize in mini sessions—because I believe 20 minutes is the perfect amount of time to capture genuine smiles, playful giggles, and those unforgettable family moments without overwhelming your little ones.
These sessions take place at various beautiful spots around Nashville, offering the perfect backdrop to showcase your family’s unique connection. Whether we meet in a lush park, a gorgeous studio, or a peaceful open field, every location helps tell your story in a meaningful way, no matter the season.

Hello, I'm Dolly and I am passionate about connecting with families to capture the magic of the season they are in. Preserving it in photos that can be treasured for years to come. Watching my own sons change dramatically from day to day, I can testify how each photo of them holds precious memories.

There is something just so irresistible about an old family photo album. The pages filled with photos from across time. Each photo brimming with inside jokes, stories shared at the dinner table, the family car trip where someone accidentally got left behind. All of it and more comes flooding back when you look back on family photos.
Every family deserves the luxury of quality family photos (yes, even if it's a mini session, you can still get high-quality portraits). And I would be so honored to get to work with you and your family in a mini-session in Middle Tennessee!

I offer 8-9 rounds of mini sessions throughout the year and make it a priority to keep my community informed early on, so you can plan ahead with ease! Be sure to join my email list to get exclusive access to these dates before anyone else!
the SESSION DEETS

Mini sessions range from $275 to $375, depending on the location in Middle Tennessee. Each session lasts 20 minutes and includes up to 10 edited images. I’ll send you the full gallery, and you can select your favorites—or choose to upgrade and keep the entire gallery!
Every year I host 10-12 different mini-sessions (⭐️dates will be crossed out as they are booked out⭐️) I have one more date left for 2025)
Details of most minis:
-Cost: $275-375 (depending on location) + Tax
-10 images
-15 minutes
-Delivered within 3 weeks of session on an online gallery where client can determine which pictures they want or there will be a full gallery option as well.
-In order to reserve a spot, client must sign the contract + pay for the mini-session in full to reserve the session.
-MOST sessions may come with a rain backup date which I will communicate on in the contract!

How many people are allowed at Mini-Sessions?
Mini sessions are designed specifically for one family unit. To keep things fair and enjoyable for everyone, please refrain from using these sessions for extended family groups—let’s stick to the intended format! 😊
What happens if it rains on our session day?
If it rains, there is usually a rain date that is a backup date! If it's a studio session, there is no rain backup date.
What should we wear for our mini-session?
I’ll send you a family style guide with outfit inspiration to help coordinate your looks. If you prefer a professional stylist, I can recommend someone amazing in Nashville.
How long will the mini-session last?
10-15 minutes. I try to make these mini sessions really fast in order to hold your little one's attention & to still provide timeless family photos!
