Mommy and Me Photo session in Mount Juliet TN
Nashville Motherhood & Family Photographer, Dolly DeLong Photography, features a sweet Mommy and Me session in Mount Juliet with the Evans family!
I am so excited that my sweet friend, Briana, reached out to take portraits with her son, Ezekiel. In addition to the photos, it was also nice getting to pamper her with hair and makeup (thanks to the talented Kathryn Coursey) since Briana opted in for the family experience session! Briana was one of my first friends I made when I moved to Nashville for Grad School in late 2007/early 2008, and I have loved watching her story grow from meeting Craig, to getting married, and now she is a mom to an incredibly adorable little boy! I created my family experience packages with all moms, like Briana, in mind because I want to make sure that Mama feels comfortable, ready, and confident for her family session, especially since photography is an investment, and I believe these photos should be treasured in the years ahead. It was nice having Kathryn come over to help Briana get ready and not feel so rushed, stressed, and anxious about getting Ezekiel ready since we were in the comfort of her home. This session felt even more special because I got to serve my friend in this very unique way through photography, and it just reminds me why I love my job so much!
The session was especially sweet because of Craig, Ezekiel’s Daddy, who sang and played his guitar for part of the session, and Ezekiel was enamored by his Dad’s and Mom’s voices (which you will see in the photos-it just melts your heart)! I also got to take some detailed photos of Ezekiel’s nursery, which I know Briana put a lot of time into designing, so it was very sweet!
Thank you, Evans family, for inviting me over to your home to help capture these photos for you three! I was truly honored that you invited me into your sacred space, and I loved that Blaise got to come along with me as well (and that Craig played the guitar for Blaise, too!)
