I was originally supposed to shoot Kelly and Matthew’s engagement session a month earlier this Spring, but due to a rainy forecast we pushed their engagement session to a late Sunday afternoon in early April (and guess what? It ended up being cold and a bit rainy again, but we made the most of the day and these photos still turned out beautifully)!
This was my very first time meeting Kelly and Matthew in person since we had been corresponding with each other via email and they are very easy and fun to talk to. Of course, if you don’t know me by now, you should know that I ask A LOT of questions during my sessions to get to know the couple and to get to know their love story. One thing that really stood out to me about Kelly and Matthew’s story is what Matthew had to say about Kelly.
Matthew, as you can tell by the photos, adores his fiance Kelly. He spoke very tenderly to her throughout the entire session, was encouraging to her, and was very accommodating in that he made sure she stayed warm since it was pretty cold outside. He has a wonderful and upbeat attitude and it makes me so happy that Kelly has found a wonderful partner to be by her side! I loved all of these engagement photos because they reflect how much Matthew loves to admire his fiance, Kelly!
I cannot WAIT until their wedding in November at Hidden Creek Farms later on this year! It is going to be a lovely day!
Finally get those dreamy & classic family photos you desire & want!
