Working with Ben and Lizzy, the owners of Crieve Hall Bagel Co., was a dream come true! They run a mom-and-pop sourdough bagel shop in Nashville, TN and after starting up during the pandemic, they knew they were ready to up their marketing game. That’s where I come in! Together, we planned their Nashville branding photography session to highlight what makes Crieve Hall Bagel Co. so special. And let me tell you: they really are special!

Ben and Lizzy started their bagel company during COVID-19 as a home bakery. Things progressed from there, and now they’re running a shop right down the street from where they live. As the only fully sourdough bagels in the city, they’ve left their mark already – with tasty bagels, that is! When I asked them why they wanted to start their company, they told me: “Nashville was a bagel desert! People love it, especially all the people who moved here from Chicago and the coasts, but there hadn’t been many options beyond Proper Bagel. Now we’re another positive, fun, delicious choice near the city.” Seriously… if you haven’t tried one of their bagels, go do it now!
My job was all about capturing what Crieve Hall Bagel Co. is about: authenticity, hustle, teamwork, and joy. Ben and Lizzy made me laugh our entire session and were up for everything I suggested. As a result, we got some beautiful and playful portraits for their marketing and shop. One of the other big projects while I was there was to photograph every flavor bagel and cream cheese they offer. These will be used online and on their ordering boards. I love that Ben and Lizzy really think through the best way to make their shop flow easily and they offer great customer service. And I have to admit: this was definitely one of my tastiest branding sessions to date!
