How to Add a URL Redirect Page on Your Dubsado Lead Capture Form | Dubsado Educator Dolly DeLong Photography

One of my favorite things about Dubsado is that you can truly customize your lead capture form. I mean, really customize it! A lead capture form is the first time you’re going to be collecting information from your potential clients. I talk all about how to build a contact page that WOWS your clients here, so today I want to talk about adding a URL redirect page on the backend of your contact form.  I know that sounds like a bunch of random words, but a URL redirect page is basically a thank you page after a lead form is submitted. So, now that you know what it is, let’s talk about WHY you should have a URL redirect page (and then HOW you can add one to your URL redirect page) 

Why should you have a URL redirect page? 

The most obvious reason you should have a URL redirect page is: the person submitting the form knows it’s been done successfully. No more wondering if their form got to you or not. This thank-you page is one more chance to bring some of your personality and brand to that potential customer’s mind. It’s easy to keep a boring, vanilla message like “we received your message” on the page. But, why not make it a little more fun?

How to mix up your redirect page! 

When you’re ready to design your redirect page, think about a few ways to use that space to your advantage. This is a great place to direct your potential clients to another page on your site about your services. Or, you could link to a shop if you have products that might interest them! Another great option is to link to a blog post that would get them excited about working with you. Whatever it is, think about your client’s journey on your website and with you. How can you get them hyped about what you have to offer? 

And don’t forget to add your Facebook Pixel code on your website so that if someone is redirected to your URL thank you page, you’re collecting that data! This will help with redirect ads later on! Kind of a no-brainer! 

As you can clearly see, there are lots of benefits for small business owners to use their URL redirect page to their advantage! I can’t wait to see what you do with yours to make it even better and even more powerful for your own business! 

Before I wrap this up, here is a quick screenshot of WHERE & HOW you add your Redirect page! It is in the Settings tab of your Dubsado Lead Capture Form and once you create your redirect page, just save that link and paste it into the Redirect URL area (as seen in this screenshot)
