Downtown Nashville Engagement Session | Nashville Engagement Photographer Dolly DeLong Photography
Although I’m primarily a family and branding photographer here in Nashville, when Nathan reached out to me about photographing his proposal to his girlfriend, Madison, I knew I had to be a part of it. I’ve known Nathan since he was in high school. And I’ve had the honor of seeing him become a kind, godly, and hard-working man since then. Fun fact, I worked at Nathan’s high school as one of the guidance counselors – which is how I met him. Thanks to social media, we’ve stayed in touch! Now, I was able to be part of a super special moment in his life!
Nathan reached out to me last December because he knew he was ready to propose to Madison. He knew for awhile that she was THE ONE and wanted everything to go perfectly during their engagement! He even came over to my house to plan out the proposal – and got to meet my husband and son in the process. It was amazing – and so sweet. Unfortunately, the location that he wanted to propose at has a strict no-camera policy, but Nathan still wanted me to be at the table next to him and Madison so that when he proposed, I could capture a few iPhone photos of the big moment! Afterwards, I made an appointment with them for professional engagement portraits so they could always remember this season of their life together!!
Downtown Nashville Engagement Session
This spring, we met together in Downtown Nashville for their engagement portraits. We spent the morning walking through the War Memorial and along the Pedestrian Bridge. They’re two of my favorite spots downtown and were just perfect for Madison and Nathan’s portraits. Madison and Nathan made my job easy. When two people are as in love as these two are, it comes through the portraits so clearly – it’s amazing! We had a gorgeous day for our session – and the most beautiful view of Nashville from the bridge to end our time together. I couldn’t have asked for anything more!
I’m so happy with how their engagement downtown Nashville engagement session turned out. And, now I’m thrilled you get to see this sweet session, too! Congratulations again, Nathan and Madison!! I’m beyond thrilled for you!
