Kelly & Matthew’s Cozy and Southern Fall Wedding At

Hidden Creek Farms in Nashville, Tennessee

A little back story about how the couple met: so when Kelly’s little sister moved to Nashville several years ago, Kelly had no idea that the online dating site which she was at the time was using would change her location to Nashville and fate would have it, it would match her with Matthew when she was visiting her sister.  When Matthew messaged Kelly on the dating site, they began to talk and ended up meeting in Nashville. They ended up REALLY hitting it off and began dating long-distance for almost one year. Then Kelly moved to Nashville with her daughter and that was about three years ago.

When I photographed Kelly and Matthew’s engagement session in the Spring of 2019 (you can see that session HERE),  I heard the story from them, but it never hit me that Kelly was actually visiting her sister and her dating app had changed her location to Nashville! I mean, talk about fate, because if you think about it, IF her phone had not updated locations and she would have never met Matthew! And I really think it was fate because Kelly and Matthew are such a good match for each other. They love and respect each other deeply, and it is such a sweet example to everyone around them.

When they were planning their wedding, they told me that they chose Hidden Creek Farms because they loved the fact that it is a family-run farm, that there were horses (which are pictured in this gallery BONUS), and also because the owners are down to earth and very friendly and personable. Every other vendor just fell into place after they chose their wedding venue, and it was truly a cozy fall evening celebrating their wedding with their closest friends and family members.
